These fact sheets are the results of in-depth evaluation of compliance with smoke-free laws in 12 cities in Turkey, using the guide Assessing Compliance with Smoke-free Laws.
The first fact sheet focuses on compliance with Turkey's 2008 smoke-free legislation in indoor public places, including taxis. The second fact sheet elaborates on the first by expanding to evidence of smoke-free compliance in both indoor and outdoor public places. Specifically, this fact sheet compares the two via evidence of smoking, ashtrays, cigarette butts, and smoking signs.
